Netezza: TEMP tables don't share same database namespace

Netezza TEMP tables don't share the same database-level namespace when created. Instead, you can use the same TEMP table name in different database sessions connected to the same database.  This example illustrates connection to the same SANDBOX database from three different session. Each sessions created TEMP table using the same name T_NAME_2:

Session A
Session B

Session C

However, creating eponymous TEMP table in confines of the same session fails with error:

Session A

How to preserve TEMP tables in a single Aginity session read post: Aginity: keep connection open to preserve TEMP tables for Netezza session.
